100 Things That I Like

Long ago I came across a wonderful website: Learning To Love You More

Somewhere on there I found this wonderful prompt:

List 100 things that you like.

Make a list of 100 things you like in no particular order. Avoid the obvious (significant other, cake...) and be completely honest with yourself. If you try to think of things that you are curious about and inspired by, you'll end up discovering a lot about yourself and in doing so developing a sort of bank of your interests and ideas.

In March 2005, I came up with my own list, which I just found.

what an interesting idea! i will have to try it. if you don't mind sharing, what did you learn about yourself by creating this list? i realize this list was from a while ago, but when you make another one, what did you learn from your most recent list?

I can only do this if I don't read yours for a week, because I'll try too hard not to just copy your stuff. I like most of those things, too, but I'm not sure they'd occur to me ... except having just read them on yours.

@Renee:
I don't remember what if anything I learned when I made this first list. I do recall it making me feel more observant in a certain way.

I've got 15 things on a new list, and what I've noticed so far is a tendency to want to put things that I liked once, or that maybe I feel like I "should" like, and I'm having to question if I do actually like them.

I would love to see your list!

I understand. I'm working on a second list, and I'm hoping I'm not repeating any!

I hope you make a list! I wanna see it!
